Infusion of fluids such as parenteral nutrition and administration of other drugs and medications.
Maintain hydration and/or correct dehydration in patients who cannot drink a sufficient volume of oral fluids.
Contraindications
Administration of very viscous fluids.
Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the materials used.
Instructions for use
Completely close the flow control clamp.
Connect the female luer connector on the extension tubing to the male connector on the infusion set.
Remove the protective cap from the decoy male connector and open the I.V. roller clamp. Sets. Expel air from the PVC pipe and close the roller clamp.
Connect the male connector of the lure to the injection site (IV cannula, etc.) and regulate the flow by adjusting the roller clamp to achieve the desired flow rate.
Warning:
The device is for Gram-negative bacteria, even if the bacteria themselves die. For single use only; Reuse may be associated with cross-infection, device malfunction, and reactions to endotoxins, as sterilization will not inactivate toxins produced by the decomposition of gram-negative bacteria, even if the bacteria themselves are killed.
