Indications
– It is used to collect the patient's urine from the bladder in case of urinary retention using a Nelaton or Foley catheter and to measure the volume of urine for daily checks.
Contraindications
– It can cause infection to the patient.
Instructions for use
– Remove the cap from the tube inlet connector and connect the tube to the Foley or Nelaton catheter.
– The bag measurement scale provides an approximate and indicative measurement of urine volume.
– Drain urine through the outlet connector if the bag is more than half full.
